About Us

Analytical Reference Laboratory (WA), ARL (WA) is a wholly West Australian owned and operated environmental chemistry laboratory and has been servicing   a range of customers:   environmental consultants, government bodies, occupational health and safety professionals, manufacturing and mining companies for over twenty years. 

ARL (WA), specialises in environmental analysis with specific areas in the analysis of Organic and Inorganic contamination in environmental samples and in Occupational Hygiene that includes air monitoring and asbestos identification. Methodology used in the laboratory is based on standard procedures of :- USEPA,  APHA, ASTM, NIOSH,  OSHA  and Australian Standards.

Our Personnel

All chemists employed by ARL (WA) have qualifications making them eligible for membership to the Royal Australian Chemical Institute.

Facilities

The ARL (WA) laboratory is based in a purpose built facility at 46-48 Banksia Road, Welshpool, Western Australia. The floor space provided by the new facility provides ARL (WA) with many options for business expansion and the ability to create separate business units for a specific contract response.

 

Accreditations

ARL (WA) is a Quality Managed company accredited with the National Association of Testing Authorities Australia  (NATA) to the   AS ISO/IEC 17025 : 2005 standard.  The objective of ARL (WA) is to provide a professional analytical service that includes quality customer service and quality results reported in a timely manner.  The quality management system is dynamic and undergoes continuous improvement to ensure quality service into the future.

In accordance with the Australian Quarantine and Inspection Service Quarantine Act 1908, the laboratory has approval as a place for quarantine under approval number W0017.
